20/20 vision

The vision behind Centenary Quay was one of a cutting edge, mixed use development that would set new standards for functionality, architectural aesthetics and sustainability. This vision is fast becoming reality.

The regeneration of this important site will over the next seven years:

  • Be a multi-million pound investment in Woolston, signalling total commitment to the regeneration of this part of Southampton
  • Provide homes, community facilities, a supermarket, small offices, restaurants, cafes and a hotel for thousands of people
  • Provide up to 1,000 jobs and training opportunities for local people in everything from marine employment through construction to hospitality
  • Lead the field in environmental sustainability to ensure the development is enjoyed by generations to come
  • Further integrate Woolston and Southampton
  • Create safe public access to the river and provide a new ecological habitat
